Martin Souček decided to cycle non-stop across America. He set out to conquer a race that every year takes participants to the very edge of what the human body can handle. He embarked on this journey not to draw attention to himself, but to draw attention to an important topic - palliative care.

Martin's not going alone. He has built a team of experts around him to help him reach the finish line successfully in both of these challenges.

The Race Across America is almost 3,000 miles long. 50°C temperatures in the desert are alternated by strong winds, the weather is unpredictable, anything can happen. In order to reach the finish line within the 9-day limit, Martin and Tomas will put their bodies under extreme stress and sleep deprivation. They have up to 216 hours ahead of them, which will seem endless.

A few days can seem like an eternity before one gets to grips with the situation when someone around them is at the end of their life. What to do? Can anyone help him? Who do you turn to? So many questions... That's why there are homesteaders.

The project was created to help spread awareness about palliative care in the Czech Republic and to help us all prepare for a situation that is inevitable in everyone's life. The last stage.
